The sky was anything but grey when Grey’s Anatomy actress Skyler Shaye wed her longtime beau, musician Christian Lopez, at The Ritz Carlton, Bacara. JOWY Productions designed the stunning seaside celebration sprinkled with florals, love, and plenty of Hollywood glamour. With its ceremony space located right on the water with lush, manicured lawns, vibrant floral installations, and sweeping views of the majestic Pacific Ocean, a wedding at the Ritz-Carlton, Bacara is like a scene straight out of a Hollywood movie. The romantic setting creates the perfect blank canvas to design the wedding of one's dreams set against the most magnificent backdrop. For Skyler and Christian’s wedding, JOWY Productions teamed up with some of the most talented vendors in the business to bring the couple’s vision to life at this beautiful resort.

The couple said “I Do” beneath a stately, four-pillar chuppah adorned with a mix of blush and white blooms that perfectly mirrored the hues of the floral-lined aisle leading up to the chuppah. Guests were seated on dark wooden chairs facing the chuppah and watched in awe as the stunning bride walked down the aisle wearing a gorgeous lace gown by Johnny Wujek, an award-winning designer, and personal friend of hers.

After the intimate ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests celebrated the joyous occasion with an alfresco reception at the resort. The reception took place in a quaint courtyard tucked away where traditional architecture meets understated elegance. Guests were seated on gold chairs around a mix of round and rectangular tables dressed in white linens with an abundance of blush centerpieces of varying heights. As the sun slowly set, thousands of overhead stringers and taper candles were sparkling adding to the romantic ambiance and creating the perfect start to the couple’s happily ever after.

"Christian and I have felt like we've been married for years but nothing compares to the real thing," Shaye, 35, told People Magazine. "We're just so elated to have our most beloved friends and family in one place, ringing in this new reality for us. It's a dream come true."
