Beautiful Micro-Wedding in Beverly Hills Featured on Over The Moon
When Lauren and Blake’s large-scale wedding was postponed due to Covid, the couple knew they still wanted to honor their original wedding date in some way. Although a small wedding in the family home’s backyard was not how they had originally envisioned their nuptials, a beautiful micro-wedding in Beverly Hills ultimately turned out to be the wedding of their dreams. We’re thrilled to see this gorgeous celebration featured on Over The Moon.
Having to postpone a much anticipated large-scale wedding is an incredibly difficult decision to make and understandably a huge disappointment for any couple. But thanks to the support of family, an amazing creative team, and a positive attitude, Lauren and Blake will celebrate their nuptials not only once, but twice.
“We are so thankful we had this small ceremony. There will always be a chance to celebrate with our friends and family in the future, but this intimate, dreamlike wedding was only possible because it was so small, and we were able to truly connect with each other and each one of our guests. Even more importantly, we truly relished each moment, took our time, and soaked it all in,” Lauren told Over The Moon.
The intimate ceremony was held in the carefully cultivated rose garden at Blake’s family’s home in Beverly Hills. Beautiful rose petals embellished the ceremony space, while candles lined the aisle. The couple exchanged vows surrounded by both sets of parents beneath a floral Chuppah of roses, peonies, and orchids designed by Butterfly Floral.
The al fresco reception took place underneath a chandelier-adorned oak tree where a long table was set with an abundance of flowers and surrounded by candlelight. The newlyweds and their guests dined on cuisine catered by Spago Beverly Hills and spent the late hours of the night dancing under the stars.
“I remember feeling profoundly lucky, blessed, and hopeful for our future,” Blake told Over The Moon.
The couple’s new date for their large-scale wedding is scheduled for this summer at the Montage Laguna Beach. As it turns out having a smaller celebration on your original date and throwing a larger party later has its perks:
“Who knows? I may even get to wear this incredible dress twice! How many brides get to do that?!,” Lauren told Over The Moon.
