Love was - quite literally- in full bloom when Allie and Lewis tied the knot in the SoCal desert. From the magnificent ceremony structure to the chic centerpieces at the reception - this gorgeous couple went all in on colorful arrangements for their vibrant, floral-filled wedding at Parker Palm Springs. Known for its quirky yet tasteful and uber-cool ambiance, Parker Hotel is located in the heart of Palm Springs and has long been a favorite destination for couples looking for a one-of-a-kind venue that perfectly mixes mid-century charm and sleek design in a colorful, timeless, and elegant manner. The versatility of the resort’s vibe and history paired with Allie and Lewis’ desire to include color - lots of color; their wedding design embraced the look and feel of the property and made The Parker a perfect fit for our client’s special day.

Purple, orange, blue, and pink. No shade of bright was off-limits when we discussed the color scheme for this wedding, and because we love a challenge, we jumped at the opportunity to get creative with a whimsical and bold design. The outdoor ceremony was held in a beautiful garden tucked away on property and provided plenty of lush greenery for us to incorporate into the overall aesthetic. We teamed up with our talented team at Mark’s Garden who provided a jaw-dropping chuppah adorned with blooms in every color of the rainbow and matching arrangements that graced the entrance to the vibrant ceremony space. The beautiful palette was used for the bridal bouquet and the bridesmaids’ bouquets to further accentuate the stunning surroundings and the chic, colorful bridesmaids’ dresses.

The wind was picking up at points of the ceremony. A magical moment occurred when a gust of wind whisked the bride’s veil right off of her head and into a tree. The couple embraced this enchanted moment and welcomed the levity shaking off all nerves and along with their guests, the tone was set from there. The party was ON!

The alfresco reception, which was held in the resort’s “secret garden” behind beautiful, vintage doors, had an intimate and lavish flair that emphasized the resort’s laidback, cool California vibe, even with almost 200 guests. There were long tables dressed in white linens paired with light wood and rattan chairs, alongside colored taper candles of varying sizes plus a mix of whimsically chic blooms in all colors of the rainbow. A stately art deco-styled installation with hundreds of white pillar candles juxtaposed with overhead stringer lights added to the romantic ambiance.
