Jodi Cohen and Sarah Lowy officially launched JOWY Productions in June 2009, and already the dynamic duo is making a huge impact in the event industry.  Unlike other companies, Jodi and Sarah use their experience and creativity to design your event, and they work closely with vendors to make sure that the concept becomes a reality.  JOWY Productions does not just coordinate, they create. As a basic premise, Jodi and Sarah focus on creating affordable events without sacrificing the design and décor.  With over a combined 21 years of event planning experience and both formerly with Colin Cowie Lifestyle, Jodi and Sarah provide their clients with the research, recommendations and reassurance to throw a memorable fête without spending the ultimate budget!

During their careers in the event industry, Jodi and Sarah produced notable events all over the world including: Opening of the Atlantis Dubai Hotel and Jumeirah Island in Dubai; The opening of the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa; Oprah Winfrey’s Legend’s Ball; Cash Money Records’ Grammy Party; Mattel’s Barbie’s 50th Anniversary/Birthday Party; Royal wedding for 2000 in Qatar; The Cove Atlantis hotel opening in Bahamas and many more.

JOWY Productions' clients include: Warner Bros. Pictures, OWN: THE OPRAH WINFREY NETWORK, Silver Pictures, Access 360 Media, Warner Bros. Records, Los Angeles Family Housing, Zimmer Children's Museum, IZOD and many private clients.

 

Jodi Cohen Co- Founder/Owner

Jodi’s extensive career in design, event planning and production includes an 11-year run as the leading producer at Colin Cowie Lifestyle. Prior to launching JP, Jodi founded jbstyle, an event production company, growing her business to include some of the following clients: The Atlantis Hotel, Joel Silver (Producer of the “Lethal Weapon” series and “The Matrix”), Warner Bros. and several high-profile, private clients. Cohen’s vast experience has positioned her as one of the most well respected producers in the event planning industry.

 

 

Sarah Lowy Co-Founder/Owner

With a background in film, marketing, public relations and fine arts, Sarah helped launch the Tennis Channel and coordinated events for the network across the United States, including high profile parties at the U.S. Open. Utilizing her savvy business sense and creative mind, she went on to become a leading Event Producer with Colin Cowie Lifestyle, producing some of the most prestigious events worldwide. Sarah's endearing personality, innovative mind and tireless work ethic consistently deliver personal and unique experiences to each client.


Marla Weintraub Event Producer

With over 4 years of production experience from one of Los Angeles’ leading event companies, Marla brings her event knowledge and enthusiasm to the JP team. Specializing in weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and social events, Marla’s attention to detail and organization deliver flawless execution to every event she oversees. Each client that Marla works with feels at ease with her demeanor, ability to work towards exceeding their expectations and has nothing but great things to say about her positive attitude.
